S’il Te Plaît Madame parce qu’on est poli mais quand même on s’tutoie ! La permission de t’émoustiller les oreilles ou de mettre les pieds dans l’plat…?

C’est à l’initiative de Pierre Millet (trompettiste) & Mathieu Millet (contrebassiste), que le 4tet S’il Te Plait Madame, se constitue à l’automne 2011. Les frères Millet proposent à Emmanuel Penfeunteun (batteur) et Fabrice Theuillon (saxophoniste) de les rejoindre pour élaborer un projet musical collectif, résolument acoustique, autour de compositions originales écrites par les 4 musiciens, et incluant une large part d’improvisation.

Un 4tet dont la formation sans instruments harmoniques permet une liberté rythmique et mélodique toute particulière. Une aventure vers des contrées apatrides et « harmolodiques ». Un mélange d’écritures, de grooveries, de free contrôlé ou non, pour une musique désireuse de s’inscrire dans un jazz contemporain pas trop poli… déconseillé par Pélerin Magazine !
